Convenor of Langsai Thouna Ksh Rajiv and one of its member, Naorem Jotish who were arrested by Kakching police on November 27, 2024 on various charges were released by the Court on Tuesday on bail with a surety bond of Rs 1 lakh each.
After their release, Convenor, Kshetri Rajiv and member Naorem Jotish were accorded warm welcome with flower garlands by the people at Ibudhou Naohallai Laibung located at Kakching Keithel.
Convenor Rajiv said that after spending 3 months in jail, the Court has finally granted bail to them.
However, when the police conduct any further inquiry or investigation in the future, "we will extend full cooperation", he added.
He also stated that Langsai Thouna will always stand tall for the people of Kakching and will continue to perform welfare activities for the people of Kakching.
