Assam Rifles organises 'A day with Company Commander'

Imphal, November 20 2024: Assam Rifles today organized "A day with company Commander" for students from schools in Shakpao village, aimed at inspiring and motivating young minds while fostering a sense of nationalism and camaraderie.

The event witnessed participation from 58 locals, including 45 students, 3 teachers and 10 parents from Shakpao and Ramva villages, said a release issued by IGAR (S).

A variety of engaging activities were held throughout the day, including tug-of -war, singing and cultural dance competitions, designed to encourage teamwork and cultural expression among the children, said IGAR (S).

The students, teachers and parents expressed their heartfelt appreciation to Assam Rifles' for their initiative in organizing such meaningful and informative recreational activity and pledged their support to the Security Forces in future endeavours.

The event not only reinforce community ties but also highlighted the commitment of Assam Rifles to engage with local communities and promote a spirit of cooperation and understanding, said the IGAR (S) .
