Shortly after they walked free from Sajiwa Jail here, the activists were warmly received at a simple function at Manipur Press Club organised by JCILPS.
Speaking to media on the sidelines of the reception ceremony, JCILPS convenor Ibotombi Khuman announced a 16-member team of the committee will hold talks with the All Political Party ILP Committee tomorrow.
"We've received a formal invitation from Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh for talks on implementation of ILP at 2 pm tomorrow," he said.
On the issue of NIT, Langol hostel where a clash took place among groups of students on September 11, Khuman made it very clear that the committee had no link with the incident.
He appealed to Bihar Government not to remove its native students studying at the institute.
Two officials from Bihar Home Department arrived here yesterday to look into the incident.
Khuman pledged the ILP movement will continue in the state until the demand for introduction of the ILP system to check influx of outsiders is met.
