Swachhata Pakhwada Programme concludes

Thoubal, January 02 2025: As part of fortnight campaign of Swachhata Pakhwada programme under Swachh Bharat Mission, the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Thoubal conducted Swachhata Pakhwada campaign across Thoubal district from December 16-31, 2024.The fortnight long campaign held under Swachhata Action Plan 2024 witnessed participation of people from all walks of life including farmers, students, youths, self help group members, etc.

Cleanliness drive, tree plantation, awareness programme on hygiene and sanitary, holding competitions related to cleanliness were the highlight of the two week long campaign.

A total number of 16 programs were conducted during the campaign and 252 people participated during the two week long campaign.

The campaign aims to instill a sense of responsibility towards cleanliness and hygiene among the citizens.
