Imphal, June 30 2013: Following filming of a couple having sex in the restricted area of Khuga Dam and spreading the video clip on social networking sites allegedly by some IRB personnel, irate residents of Churachandpur town tried to set ablaze Churachandpur Police Station demanding action against the involved IRB personnel today evening.

According to sources, a married woman and a man were caught having sex inside the restricted area of Khuga Dam by the personnel of 1st IRB who were guarding the Dam about one month back.

The IRB personnel reportedly captured the act on their mobile phones.

The IRB personnel told the couple that their immoral act was punishable under the Indian law and so they should be handed over to Police.

However, the couple pleaded to the IRB personnel not to handover them to the Police.

In the recent few days, the sex video of the couple went viral on social networking sites.

The couple was caught and questioned by social organizations of Churachandpur after seeing them in the video.

The couple disclosed that the video was filmed by the personnel of 1st IRB who Women's organizations and other social organizations in Churachandpur have been pressuring the Police since yesterday to arrest the IRB personnel involved in filming and spreading the video.

The Police then filed an application to the CO of 1st IRB to handover the three personnel involved in the scandal.

Subsequently, they were handed over to Churachandpur Police today.

Two out of the three personnel are in the rank of Havildar who hail from Churachandpur district itself, while the other personnel is a rifleman from the valley, police sources said.

A large number of men and women stormed Churachandpur Police Station at around 6 pm today demanding the three IRB personnel to be handed over to them.

They even tried to break the main gate of the Police Station.

Reinforcement of police force was called in to control the mob.

More than 100 rounds were blank fired by the police to disperse the mob.

However, the mob became more furious and started to hurl petrol bombs towards the Police Station.

Fire broke out inside the campus of the Police Station, but the police personnel managed to douse the fire and prevented the Station from arson.

Meanwhile, the police have shifted the three IRB personnel to some safe Police Station in valley area after the mob was put under control.
