Imphal, October 30 2013:
The Co-ordination Committee (CorCom) of six UG groups namely KCP, KYKL, PREPAK, PREPAK (Pro), RPF and UNLF has clarified that it is not related to the bomb blast incidents at Thangal Bazar on October 29 and Moirangkhom Moreh Van Parking on October 30 and shared the grief and bereavement of the family members of those killed and injured.
In a statement, CorCom said that even if launching of attacks on personnel of Indian security forces is the bounden duty of every true revolutionary, none of its constituent units considered innocent civilians of India as their enemy unlike the Indian security forces who target innocent people of Manipur and violate their rights at every given opportunity.
In addition to this, Indian security personnel are secretly promoting some anti-social elements and groups to tarnish the image of the revolutionary groups fighting for the cause of independence of Manipur.
They also do not openly disclose the arms and ammunition surrendered to them or seized by them, and thus, use of such arms and ammunition for some secret agenda could not be ruled out.
So, the public should be cautious.
