Thoubal, December 30 2024: A book titled "Leeklanglaktagi Leeklu Kharadang" written by Yengkhom Indira was released today at Thoubal Wangmataba Sorok Makha Sai Mandir.

The book release ceremony organised by Manipur Sahitya Samiti Thoubal was graced by Nongmaithem Kirankumar, convenor of Manipuri Language Advisory Board, New Delhi as chief guest, Manipur Sahitya Samiti Thoubal, president, retd Wing Commander, Akoijam Debendra as president and Dr Thounaojam Khomdon, Librarian of Manipur University of Culture as guest of honour.

During the function, Quad Writers Moirang president, Salam Tomba gave a brief introduction and review of the book.

As part of the ceremony, a two minute silence was observed for the bravehearts who have sacrificed their lives protecting the territorial integrity of Manipur during the ongoing conflict in the State.
