PREPAK celebrates Red Army Uprising Day

The proscribed PREPAK today celebrated the 45th Red Army Uprising Day together with different communities of both the hills and the valley.
The 45th Red Army Uprising Day was celebrated at the party's central headquarters, general headquarters, 707 mobile battalion, tactical headquarters, base areas, transit camps and training centres, according to a press release issued by the outfit's publicity officer, department of publicity and propaganda, Mangal Khuman.

The PREPAK Interim Council Chairman, the charge-de-affairs, publicity and propaganda and the assistant charge-de-affairs, publicity and propaganda graced the celebration held at the central headquarters as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, the Interim Council Chairman asserted that the Government of India's divide and rule policy and its attitude are responsible for all the woes and suffering of the people of Kangleipak.
He alleged that the Government of India has been patronising and sheltering armed militants from across the border and these foreign militants have been working together with Assam Rifles and other Indian armed forces.
He then underscored the necessity for all indigenous people to lead a life of warrior in order to protect the motherland and defend themselves.
He also exhorted all the Red Army fighters to always remember that the armed struggle is the only plausible means of regaining the lost sovereignty of Kangleipak.
The Red Army Uprising Day celebration held at the general headquarters was graced by the Red Army Chief of Army Staff, charge-de-affairs, Medical and Family Welfare and deputy charge-de-affairs, Finance Department, Organisation-1 and Organisation-2 as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
At 707 mobile battalion, NSCN/GPRN Chairman Yung Aung, Red Army Base Area Secretary and the Camp Commander attended the raising day celebration as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
The press release issued by the PREPAK Publicity Officer said that the outfit and its Red Army offered revolutionary salute with the deepest respect to all the founder leaders of the party, Red Army cadres, all revolutionary fighters who have laid down their lives in the course of the liberation movement and all those people who have died due to oppression and atrocities committed by India.
It went on to pledge that the Red Army will carry on the liberation relentlessly until the cherished goal is achieved.
