Imphal, September 19 2026: Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand attended the inaugural session of a conference of Finance Ministers and Finance Secretaries of States and Union Territories with Legislature on "Financing India's Journey towards Viksit Bharat", in New Delhi, today.

Chief Ministers of Assam, Delhi, Goa, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Meghalaya, Nagaland; De-puty Chief Ministers of Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, and Odisha; and Finance Ministers of Andhra Pra-desh, Assam, Gujarat, Hi- machal Pradesh, Jhar-khand, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal; and MoS for Finance of Maharashtra attended the conference.

CM joins FMs' conference on Viksit Bharat

The conference is being held to further explore policy complementarities between the Centre and States on a platform that brings together academic rigour and practical policy for deliberation on financing challenges and policy priorities for India's development journey to Viksit Bharat.
