Imphal, October 11 2010:
Accusing Y Ningthemjao and N Nimai of scheming to abolish IUCB and challenging the UNLF, the outfit has decided to penalise the duo at the first available opportunity.
A press release issued by the outfit's senior publicity officer Ksh Yoiheiba alleged that Ningthemjao and Nimai were found guilty of graft charges but were saved from any penalty on humanitarian ground as they confessed their faults and pleaded for forgiveness.
Ningthemjao was declared guilty by the UNLF in February last year for misappropriation of fund and appointment of staff by taking bribe.
After retirement, Ningthemjao returned to IUCB as GM in April this year in connivance with some Ministers in total violation of the bank's rules and regulations.
N Nimai was dismissed from service for procurement of ATM's in a fraudulent manner when he was AGM of the bank two years back.
He was pardoned by the outfit on his assurance not to work in the bank ever again.
Now, Ningthemjao and Nimai have turned a den of corruption out of IUCB for their own selfish interests, the outfit alleged while accusing the duo of violating the restrictions imposed upon them by the party.
