Imphal, April 04 2016:
The existing issue of Ministry reshuffle should be resolved at the earliest otherwise it would fester and cost dear to the Congress party, asserted Outer Manipur MP Thangso Baite.
Speaking to some media persons today, Thangso Baite maintained that there is no harm reshuffling Ministry from time to time.
Whether the Ministry should be reshuffled or not should be decided by the party's legislators.
A Government may face political pressure from within on many issues including allotment of funds.
As there was a consensus, the question of electing a new MPCC president has been resolved but no one is sure what will happen next, said the MP.
The question of reshuffle is not something new and one can expect volumes of propaganda at the time of election.
Ultimately, it is the people who will decide whether the Congress party should be re-elected or not.
Yet, no Congressman need to be unduly panicky.
All Congress MLAs should ponder whether Ministry reshuffle is inevitable or not.
One MLA cannot say Ministry reshuffle can facilitate election campaign and ensure re-election of Congress Government.
A collective decision is required, said the MP.
