191st Reconciliation month observed at Nambol

Bishnupur, January 02 2025: As part of the month-long observance of 191 st Reconciliation Month, the United People's Front, Manipur (UPF) in association with Naorem Youth Library & Development Organisation jointly organized a discussion programme on the theme "Eikhoi Amuk Hanna Khuntaklaroisi" at Panthoibi Shanglen, Nambol Naorem today.

During the event, Nongthombam Rupachandra, president of UPF said that "After seven years of devastation, our courageous forefathers successfully reclaimed Manipur from the hands of Awas.

Today, there are concerns among the people that such similar situations to that of Seven Years Devastation could occur again.

To prevent such an outcome, such discussion programmes are held in various areas, and will continue to hold such programs in more locations" .

As part of the program, floral tributes were also paid on the portrait of Meidingu Gambhir Singh.

The event was also attended by Hijam Priyokumar, president CADA and Naorem Manglemba of Naorem Youth Library and Development Organisation.
