Imphal, September 15 2024: One unidentified man with multiple bruises on the right arm, right shoulder, both lower limbs, large bruises on right thigh, bleeding nose and mild bruise on neck was brought to CHC Sekmai at around 8 pm on September 14 by some unknown persons in camouflage uniforms who came on a black brown Bolero.

After taking ECG, the MO declared the unknown man dead.

The dead body is now kept at RIMS morgue for proper identification and post mortem examination and the same will be disposed of as per the law if no one claims it on or before September 18, said a press release issued by the OC of Sekmai police station.

It said that the deceased was about 5'6" in height, had a swarthy complexion and oval face.

The man of medium build who appears to be 30-37 years is wearing one loin cloth (Khudei) and one thread of Salai Taret around the wrist of his right hand.
