Imphal, July 01 2009: Individual youths and voluntary organisations of Senapati district and Kangpokpi (Sadar Hills) sub-division interested in applying for nomination of 'Youth award' for the year 2000-09 are informed to submit entries along with relevant details/documents to the District Youth Affairs and sports Officer concerned at the earliest.

The award would be conferred to individuals (13-35 years) and voluntary organisations in recognition of outstanding works in the area of social work, non-formal/adult education, national integration, adventure/recreational activities, drugs/AIDS awareness, scouting & Guiding etc in between April 1, 2008 to March 31 this year, added separate statements issued by the DYASOs.

Submission of entries would be entertained upto July 5, the statements said adding that further details may also be had from the DYASO offices.
