NPP Moirang Block welcomes 82 members into fold

Bishnupur, August 27 2024: National People's Party (NPP) Moirang Block organised a reception ceremony today at Moirang Yumkhaibam Mandop welcoming 82 new people into the fold of NPP Moirang Block.

The new members include 10 NPP Moirang Block administrative committee members of Phubala GP including the Pradhan; 6 from Ngangkhalawai GP including the Pradhan; 6 from Terakhongshangbi-Tronglaobi GP including the Pradhan; 9 from Kwakta GP including the Pradhan and 46 persons who were previously affiliated with other political parties as well as 2 Zilla Parishad members and three former members of two GPs.

Addressing the gathering, Th Shanti, MLA Moirang AC said that today's reception ceremony is not a political event but a function to unite the NPP members.

On the occasion, he urged the new members to do away with harmful thoughts and instead focus on the development of the State and the country.

He further urged people to stop misusing social media.

He accorded a warm welcome to the 82 new members and presented them with the NPP scarf.

The reception ceremony was attended by Ph Magha Singh, president, NPP Moirang Block; S Kumar Singh, chairman, Political Affairs Committee and Y Modhu, chief advisor, MLA Office Moirang.
