As observed across the country, 76th Republic Day was also celebrated across the State on Sunday.
BISHNUPUR
Bishnupur joined the nation in celebrating the 76th Republic Day with a grand ceremony at the District Sports Association (DSA) Ground, Bishnupur organized by the District Administration, Bishnupur.
The DC unfurled the national flag and took salute of 27 March Past contingents, including the NYK Bishnupur cultural troupe.
The March Past was led by Md Riyajuddin Shah, MPS Dy.
SP (LPF), Bishnupur.
In addition to the March Past, the ceremony featured an array of cultural performances by seven different groups, including the CRPF and RAF cultural troupes.
As part of the Republic Day celebrations, commendation awards were presented to deserving individuals for exceptional contributions to the district, marking the occasion with a note of recognition and honour.
JIRIBAM
The District Administration, Jiribam today celebrated India's 76th Republic Day in a grand manner at Jiribam Higher Secondary School Playground.
Deputy Commissioner, Jiribam Krishna Kumar, IAS inspected the Guard of Honour and unfurled the Tri-colour as a combined band party of Manipur Fire Service and Civil Police Jiribam played the National Anthem and later took salute from the 10 March Past contingents led by Parade Commander Yumnam Joyraj Singh, MPS, Deputy Commandant, 7th IRB.
The contingents include CRPF, 7th IRB, Jiribam Civil Police, Jiri College Boys & Girls Contingent, Jiribam Hr Secondary Boys & Girls Contingent, Forest and combined band party of Manipur Fire Service and Civil Police Jiribam.
PHERZAWL
The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with patriotic fervour at the DC Office complex in Pherzawl.
Deputy Commissioner Asish Das unfurled the national flag, marking the beginning of the celebrations.
The Deputy Commissioner also took salute from the parade contingents, commanded by SDPO Thanlon, Golamthang Hatzaw.
Addressing the gathering, DC Asish Das highlighted the significance of the Constitution, describing it as the bedrock of India's democracy.
The celebration also featured the distribution of appreciation certificates to 30 Government employees for their outstanding services.
CHURACHANDPUR
The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great fervor at Public Ground, Hiangtam Lamka.
in Churachandpur.
The event saw Dharun Kumar S, Deputy Commissioner of the district, unfurling the National Flag and receiving the Rashtriya Salute as the Chief Guest from 23 march past contingents, including BSF, civil police, NCC cadets, and school students.
The ceremony also included the distribution of commendations to 53 Government officials and staff, 56 Police/Security forces, and NGOs/Organiza-tions for their contributions to public service and the District Administration.
TENGNOUPAL
District Administration, Tengnoupal today celebrated the 76th Republic Day at District Headquarter, Tengnoupal with Deputy Commissioner, Tengnoupal Krishna Kumar, IAS as the chief Guest.
Soon after the arrival of the chief guest he unfurled the National Flag and took the Rashtriya Salute.
As part of the celebration, Appreciation certificates were distributed to 26 Government employees, Institution and individuals in recognition of their outstanding and valuable services to Tengnoupal District in public service.
NONEY
The 76th Republic Day celebration was also celebrated at Longmai HI Public Ground , Longmai, Noney.
DC Noney Sharath Chandra Arroju unfurled the tricolour with Rashtriya Salute and national anthem.
He also made an inspection of the march-past.
Altogether about 20 contingents took part in the march past today.
Jilangamba Thangal, DSP(MPS), Noney Police was the parade commander of the function.
Appreciation certificates were also distributed to the selected Government employees and individuals of various line departments.
KANGPOKPI
Kangpokpi District joined the nation, the 76th Republic day celebration, 2025 was celebrated on Sunday at the Brigadier M Thomas ground Kangpokpi.
Gracing the occasion as Chief Guest, Deputy Commissioner Mahesh Chaudhari IAS hoisted the national flag and took Rashtriya Salute accompanied by National Anthem sang by SFS school.
Later the DC took salute of 23 marching contingent from BSF, CRPF, VDF, NCC and several Government and private schools in the district.
The parade was commanded by Abhinav, IPS, SDPO, Gamnom-Saparmeina.
District Administration Kangpokpi and SP Kangpokpi were also awarded Chief Minister's Certificate of Commendation on the occasion of Republic Day celebration 2025 in recognition of outstanding contribution in Implementation of ILP in the district on the completion of 5 years of implementation of ILP in Manipur.
UKHRUL
Ukhrul district celebrated the 76th Republic Day at Bakshi ground Dungrei Hungpung, Ukhrul on Sunday.
The Deputy Commissioner, Ukhrul Kengoo Zuringla unfurled the tri-colours national flag and took the Rashtriya Salute' as the National Anthem was sung.
While Parade commander inspector Chongtham Sarjan led the march-past participated by 34 contingents including BSF, NCC and school Students of Ukhrul.
Chief Minister's Certificate of Commendation (In recognition of Outstanding contribution on the completion of 5 years of Inner Line Permit) were also awarded to the Deputy Commissioner, Ukhrul, Superintendent of Police and Inspector of Jessami police) .
Subsequently, the chief guest distributed Certificate of Appreciation to 63 persons including 1 senior journalist Addie Chiphang editor of Dawn tantak while 12 security personnel were awarded 'Bravery Award' .
SENAPATI
Joining the nationwide celebration, the District Administration, Senapati also celebrated the 76th Republic Day celebration on Sunday at Sanyi Dahrii Sports Complex, Khabung Karong, Senapati.
The Deputy Commissioner of Senapati Mamoni Doley, IAS who is also the chief guest of today's celebration on arrival, inspected the Guard of Honour.
Later, she unfurled the National Flag and took the salute from 20 parade contingents consisting of security personnel, NCC, NSS and college students led by parade commander M.James Thangal, MPS, SDPO Mao.
Altogether, 104 persons consisting of both Government officials, police personnel and public were awarded with Commendation Certificates for their outstanding services and co-operation with the District Administration, Senapati.
The District Administration, Senapati also gave Appreciation Certificate to Senapati Karong Area Baptist Union (SKABU) for their cleanliness drive throughout the district headquarter.
THOUBAL
The 76th Republic Day celebration was also held on Sunday at Chaoyaima Higher Secondary School Ground, Thoubal.
Gracing the occasion as chief guest, the Deputy Commissioner Thoubal unfurled the national flag and took Rashtriya Salute.
Later the DC took salute of 27 marching contingents consisting of Manipur Police, Home Guard, VDF, NCC, Band Party, Students of the district, cultural troops, Red Cross Society and others.
The parade was led by Parade Commander, Tayenjam Clinton MPS, As part of the celebration, Appreciation and commendation certificates were also distributed to the selected Government employees and individuals of various line departments.
Winners and participants of the march past contingents were also handed prizes and certificates.
The event was also attended by SP Thoubal, Rakesh Balwal, IPS, ADM Thoubal, B Lokeshor Sharma, SDOs, SDCs, DLOs, officials and staff.
KAKCHING
Joining the rest of the nation, the 76th Republic Day celebration was also celebrated at District Sports Association Ground, Kakching.
The celebration began with hoisting of national flag by the Deputy Commissioner, Kakching Rohit Anand, LAS and sung the National Anthem.
The DC later took salute of the march past contingents consisting of Manipur Rifles, IRB, Manipur Police, VDF, Traffic police, ICDS, Kha Football Academy team, Indian Red Cross Society, NN Mangang Wushu Academy and Southern Manipur Band Party.
The parade was led by SDPO Sugnu, Ng Suresh Anthony, MPS.
CHANDEL
The 76th Republic Day celebration was also held at Maha Union Government Hr Sec School Playground, Japhou, Chandel organised by the District Administration Chandel The celebration began with the unfurling of the national flag by the Deputy Commissioner of Chandel, Mayanglambam Rajkumar.
The DC later took salute of the 17 march past contingents led by Parade Commander, Assistant Commandant of 8th MR.Parshung Moyon (MPS) .
The march past contingents consisted of Manipur police, MR, IRB, VDF, NCC, Band party of 21 Assam Rifles, students and cultural troops.
