Student induction programme for Moirang College commences

Bishnupur, July 24 2024: The student induction programme for Moirang College was inaugurated today at the mini hall of the college organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college.

The student induction programme is being held to welcome the newly admitted students and help them adapt in the new surroundings by making them familiar with the faculties and facilities in the college.

The inaugural programme of the 6-day student induction programme was graced by Retired Principal of Moirang College A Saratchandra Sharma; Principal N Joy Singh; Academic Officer S Deven Singh and Co-ordinator IQAC Dr Ph Raju Singh as the presidium members.

During the programme, Assistant Professor Department of Political Science Md Rafijuddin Shah spoke on 'Faculties and Facilities of Moirang College', Academic Officer Moirang College S Deven Singh spoke on 'College Policies, Students' Code of Conduct, Academician And Co-Curricular Activities', Controller of Exams P Ibomcha Singh spoke on 'Curricular Framework of NEP 2020' while Assistant Professor Department of Computer Science H Devajit Singh spoke on 'Academic Bank of Credit' to sensitize the newly admitted students.

Delivering the keynote address, Dr Ph Raju Singh highlighted the importance of the student induction programme and maintained that it is essential to make the new students comfortable and make them familiar about the facilities and its whereabouts.

He also appealed to the students to work in collaboration with the faculties and staff of the college for the overall development of the college.
