MDF celebrates first raising day-I

As revolutionary movement can neither survive without a strong cadre base nor without support of the people, the MDF will not shirk from the challenging agenda, the PRO claimed.
Expressing hope that the people would provide opportunity to the MDF to rectify itself at the slightest deviation from the expectation of the masses, Anand also stressed on the need for a bold stance of the people to raise objections whenever there are error in judgement and action of all armed groups as remaining muted to undesired activities of any armed group would only lead to a particular situation/issue spiralling out of ambit of remedy.
Observing that Manipur today is besieged with problems of unemployment, food shortage as well as corrupt and unscrupulous elements exploiting society, the MDF functionary suggested that the concept of day to day survival needs to be reviewed and thorough public debates should be initiated as constant interaction of the masses is an important factor for restoring Manipur to its rich past.
Expressing that individuals with parochial outlook and acts had been exploiting the society with random and has reduced the common people to mere objects, the MDF statement strongly advocated abandonment of imitating alien lifestyles for encouraging indigenous culture and imbibing sense of work culture would enable the community compete with others.

The Military defence force (MDF) celebrated its first anniversary at the base camp of the armed group today with obituaries including two minutes silence to the leader Captain Rishikanta and other cadres who laid down their lives marking the solemn programme.
A statement issued by MDF's Public Relation Officer Anand conveying gratitude to cadres and general public who had been extending support to the group recounted that MDF was established to sustain the revolutionary movement towards the chosen path of truth.
While asserting that since its inception MDF has not deviated from the principle treasured by true revolutionaries, Anand nevertheless conceded that the road ahead is arduous for MDF not only has to strengthen the organisation but is faced with an equally important task of promoting cordiality in the multi-ethnic Manipur society.
