REVA University welcomes new batch of non-technical programmes

REVA University, a pioneer in higher education, proudly welcomed the new batch of non-technical programmes for the academicyear 2025-2026 .
The inauguration ceremony held at Saugandhika on Wednesday, marked the beginning of a transformative journey for the new REVAites.
The ceremony was graced by Arihant Jain, CEO of WLDD Private Limited, as the chief guest and Jeet Marwadi, founder & MD of 1 Finance and trustee at Marwadi University as the guest of honour, said a release issued by REVA University.
Delivering the keynote address, Arihant Jain urged students to embrace every opportunity during their time at the university.
"Experience is what truly stays with you after graduation" he said, emphasising the need to actively participate in fests, competitions, and multiple internships.
He also encouraged students to face challenges head-on, ask meaningfill questions, and constantly seek learning beyond textbooks.
"In the age of AI and abundant information, building a personal brand is crucial.
Resumes are no longer enough - it's your knowledge, mindset, and experiences that set you apart," he remarked.
Jeet Marwadi shared a deeply personal account of his journey and the power of introspection.
Speaking about the importance of tuning out external noise and listening to one's own voice, he said, "There's often confusion about the right college or path- but the answer lies within.
The 'monkey mind' is easily distracted; the real task is to make sense of that stimulation and channel it meaningfully".
Presiding over the event, Dr P Shyama Raju, Chancellor of REVA University, shared his thoughts on nurturing a generation of self-driven, thoughtful leaders.
"At REVA, we believe in learning by doing- encouraging our students to ask questions, gain hands-on experience, and think independently.
Our Educate to Enterprise vision empowers students to innovate and create from day one" he added.
He also reiterated REVA's commitment to hosting successful entrepreneurs and thought leaders who inspire and mentor young minds.
As part of the inauguration ceremony, the new students received saplings marking their entry into REVA University with a pledge towards environmental stewardship.
The gesture is a key component of REVA Vanamahotsava, the University's flagship initiative anchored in the principle of "One Student, One Tree", encouraging every student to plant and nurture a sapling during their academic journey.
Dr Sanjay R Chitnis, Vice Chancellor; Dr K S Narayana Swamy, Registrar; Pro Vice Chancellors, faculty, parents and students also attended the programme.
