Review meeting for projects under NEC and NLCPR

Imphal, May 24: A late evening meeting today chaired by Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh has reviewed the progress of the developmental projects and schemes being taken up under NEC and NLCPR in the State.

During the meeting attended by Ministers, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary (Planning) and Commissioners and Secretaries of the Departments responsible for implementation of the NEC and NLCPR funded schemes and projects, the Chief Minister has asked the officials concerned to ensure submission of the utilisation certificates of the works that have already been completed and identify those which are still pending.

It may be noted here that schemes and projects with total estimated cost of Rs 426 crores and Rs 42 crores are respectively being taken up in the State under NLCPR and NEC.
