MRA extends aid to fire victims

Imphal, September 19 2026: The Manipur Relief Association (MRA) today extended financial assistance to the four families of Nagaram Block B whose houses were ravaged by an inferno on September 13 .

A team of MRA today visited the families and expressed solidarity with their misfortune.

The MRA team also handed over financial assistance to the four families.

MRA president Thokchom Surchandra said that the MRA has been providing whatever assistance it could provide to victims of floods, fire and other natural disasters.

He said that they were expressing solidarity and extending a little financial assistance to the four families whose houses were ravaged by the inferno on September 13 .

The four families have expressed gratitude to the Manipur Relief Association for their financial assistance and show of solidarity.
