Kakching rallies for justice

Imphal, July 01 2009: The JAC formed in connection with the killing of Y Krishnadas took out a massive rally at Kakching today to demand punishment of the killers and to deliver justice.

The rally started from Kakching Lai Lampak and was participated by about 8000 people.

The JAC president said that despite the demand and various forms of agitation launched by the people, not much headway has been made in the investigation of the murder.

Urging the Government to speed up the investigation work and punish the killers, the JAC leader urged all not to repeat such heinous crimes in the future.

The JAC leader also asserted that the people's movement will proceed unhindered.
