Imphal, July 14 2010: World Population Day will be observed tomorrow at Kuki Inn, Imphal under the auspices of Directorate of Family Welfare Services, Government of Manipur.

Various resource persons will deliver lectures on the problems of global population explosion with special emphasis on India.

In the function to be held tomorrow at Kuki Inn, Imphal, Ph Parijat, Minister of Health and Family Welfare and S Ibomcha, Director of Family Welfare Services will be the chief guest and President respectively.

The function will also be attended by PK Jha, State Mission Director of State Health Society and Y Yaima, Director of Health Department as guests of honour.

Various scholars are also invited to participate in the function and share their thoughts on the problems of population explosion.
