A sum of Rs 3 crores have been earmarked for development of necessary infrastructure of Manipur Public School, located at Koirengei.
Speaking a chief guest during a prize distribution function and inauguration of fine art and science exhibition in Public School complex, Education Minister L Jayantakumar said that the State Government is expecting a lot from Manipur Public School.
Stating about Rs 3 crores earmarked for development of the school's infrastructure, he called upon teachers, students and all others concerned to cleanse the decaying the education system of the State.
The function was also attended by Chairman of Manipur Pollution Control Board E Dwijamani, Principal of Manipur Public School B Santoshkumar and president of the school's Parents Association as presidium members.
An exhibition displaying fine art and science models made by students of the schools was also held today.
Prizes were also distributed to the class toppers of the school.
