Imphal, October 30 2026: A complaint against Kshetrigao AC MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan has been filed with the Manipur Legislative Speaker for allegedly intimidating the Officer-in-Charge of Porompat police station.

The complaint was filed by Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee's Sports Cell chairman Wahengbam Rojit.

Addressing the media after submitting the complaint today, Rojit said the complaint against the MLA was filed based on a recording of an alleged conversation between the MLA and the OC which went viral on social media platforms recently.

Rojit said that the MLA could be heard allegedly intimidating the police officer in the recording.

Rojit said the complaint demands action against the MLA under Rule 300(1) of Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business.
