International conference on innovative practices commences

Imphal, December 21 2022:
A two-day international conference on the topic 'Innovative Practices in Business, Education and Environment for Sustainable Development in post COVID-19 pandemic commenced today at Biramangol College, Sawombung in Imphal East district.
The inaugural function was graced by Education Minister Thounaojam Basantakumar as the chief guest and Biramangol College Principal, Dr A Surendrajit as the president.
Lamlai AC MLA Kh Ibomcha; NG Mani College Principal, Dr W Jibankumar; Manipur University Professor Dr Ch Ibohal Meitei; Head of Department of Commerce, MU Professor N Tejmani and Professor of Department of Finance, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh, Md Sakeh Jahur also attended as the guests of honour.

The conference is jointly organised by Biramangol College and NG Mani College.
Speaking at the occasion, Thounaojam Basantakumar stressed on the importance of personality development among the students who are the future pillars of the society.
He also highlighted the need of sensitizing the students about academic discussion, paper writing, presentation and soft skills so as to enhance their skills and knowledge and to boost their confidence.
The Education Minister also expressed that learning different languages of various communities in the State will help in building a unified identity.
