RSS meets Union Law Minister

Imphal, January 27 2025: The Rashtrahit Sarvopari Sangathan (RSS) met with Dr Satyanarayan Jatiya, 7 time Lok Sabha Member from Ujjain, National president of Bharat Raksha Manch and member of BJP National Election Committee to discuss the 21-month old Manipur conflict.

Chief advisor Ksh Bhaktakumar and National president Sohan Giri also held a meeting today with Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Cabinet Minister of Law and Justice on the crisis and appealed to the Union Minister to help resolve the conflict, as per a statement issued by RSS .

It is worth noting that as part of their efforts to end the Manipur crisis, many Hindu organisations, including the Rashtrahit Sarvopari Sangathan, submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 30, 2024 .

Subsequently, the Prime Minister's Office had directed the Manipur Govern- ment to submit a report on the prevailing situation in Manipur.

In the memorandum, Sohan Giri had cautioned the Prime Minister of the spillover effects the conflict might have on the rest of the country, if left unresolved.

He also accused the "Kuki terrorists" of engaging in anti-National activi- ties including drone and missile attacks, providing shelter to illegal immigrants, drug trade, unreasonable demand for separate administration etc.

The memorandum had notably demanded a surgical strike against Kuki militants and abrogation of the Suspension of Operation with armed Kuki groups.
