Minerva FC signs MoU with Thoubal academy

Thoubal, May 22 2022: With the main objective to produce international level football players from the state, the Punjab-based Minerva Academy FC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Poirei Lamdam Football Academy, Thoubal.

The MoU was signed on May 16 between Minerva Academy FC director Ranjit Bajaj and Poirei Lamdam Football Academy chief executive officer Ngangbam Kadamjit.

As per the MoU which will be valid for five years, players of Poirei Lamdam Academy will be sent to Minerva Academy FC for training and the Punjab based academy will also extend technical support to coaches and staff of Poirei Lamdam Academy.

Meanwhile, Poirei Lamdam Academy has informed that a selection trial for the academy will be conducted soon and the academy will begin intense training to produce international level football players from the state.
