Seized liquor worth ₹1.5 lakh destroyed

Jiribam, December 03 2023: Officials of Jiribam Excise Office destroyed large number of liquor seized by the excise office and Jiribam police, at the office of Excise department at Gularthol, Jiribam in front of local CSO leaders on Sunday.

According to OC of Excise Office Jiribam RK Rakesh, the liquor consignment was seized by Excise and police on different occasions.

They were destroyed in front of members of CADA Jiribam Unit.

The destroyed liquors included 234.89 litres of IMFL Rum, 2 litres of beer, and 72 litres of DIC liquor worth around Rs 1,55,787 in the local market.
