AR inaugurates Molcham Music School

Imphal, January 23 2024: Assam Rifles of IGAR (South) inaugurated Molcham Music School (MMS) for children at Molcham COB near the Indo-Myanmar border in Chandel district on Saturday.

The Music School was inaugurated by commandant of Assam Rifles along with the principal of Khengjang Primary School with an attendance of 47 children and teenagers alike, who were eager for the school to start and learn playing new musical instruments.

The classes at Molcham Music School will be held every day under a trained music instructor from Molcham village itself.

Children will be given music lessons on various musical instruments like guitar, mouth organ and flute, among others.

The village authorities and residents present during the inauguration appreciated the initiative taken by Assam Rifles for enhancement of their children's extra-curricular education, as such kind of facilities are not available in border area villages, informed a statement issued by PRO IGAR (S) .
