Kakching, January 23 2024: Thanksgiving holy mass cum felicitation programme of Most Rev Dominic Lumon, DD Archbishop Emeritus of Imphal was held on Monday at his native village, Monsang Pantha in Chandel district.

The programme was attended by Most Rev (Dr) Linus Neli, DD, Archbishop of Imphal and distinguished senior catholic priests, fathers, nuns, catechists, leaders, well-wishers, friends, relatives and family members from Monsang villages and neighbouring communities.

During the programme, a biography of Dominic Lumon, titled 'The Incredible Journey' authored by John S Shilshi, IPS (Retd) was released by Dr Linus Neli in the presence of the author.

Author John Shilshi also shared briefly on how the idea of Writing the biography of Dominic Lumon evolved.

Most Rev Dominic Lumon was felicitated by Monsang Catholic Association headed by president Dr Sh Wilson Monsang with a traditional Monsang shawl and memento as souvenir.

Most Rev Dominic Lumon, speaking at the event, thanked God and everyone who have supported and cooperated in his journey as a servant of God.

"Let us learn to be thankful and grateful to God in all circumstances," he said.
