MEELAL holds Meetei Mayek competition

Imphal, September 24 2023: Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillol Apunba Lup (MEELAL), Kangleipak organised its annual Meetei Mayek competition on Sunday at 10 centres with the participation of around 10,000 students from six districts including Jiribam.

In a release, MEELAL appreciated the people and the state government for ensuring no bandh or blockade was imposed on Sunday and also lauded the students who participated in the competition, while informing the results of the same would be announced at the earliest.

It further informed that the competition was held under five different categories.

The top three winners in each category would be awarded cash prizes of Rs 5000, 4000 and 3000 respectively, while 10 students from each category would be presented with consolation prizes.
