SKABU fasts, prays for HSLC candidates

Senapati, January 23 2024: A fasting and prayer programme was organised by Senapati Karong Area Baptist Union (SKABU) for Class X (Matric) candidates on Tuesday at Poumai Baptist Church, Senapati during which SKABU church pastors gave sermons.

Pastor Aliang Kamei spoke on "Perseverance", Rev Paul Inpui on "Prayer," Pastor R Sahoi on "Faithfulness" and Rev K Daniel on "Natural man" .

In his address, Rev Paul stressed that everyone should pray to live a successful life.

God wants everyone to live a joyful and victorious life so that they can glorify the Lord, he added.

Bethany High School and DV School children performed melodious songs.

Rev K Daniel, president SKABU, led a special prayer and blessing programme.

The programme attracted around 400 participants, including students from Mt Everest, Bethany, Samaritan Public, DV School, Vio Memorial Academy, Lai Radiant, Grace English School, Compassion Care Ministry, students from private/residential hostels, and the candidates' parents/guardians.
