AR meets elderlies of Kamjong

Imphal, July 31 2023: With the stated objective to foster mutual trust and cooperation towards promoting peace, Assam Rifles organised an interaction with the elderly citizens of Kamjong at battalion headquarters on Sunday.

According to PRO IGAR (S), around 50 elderly people of Kamjong district participated in the interaction programme.

The elderly expressed their happiness at the outreach initiative and shared valuable insights, highlighting the collaborative efforts required to promote peace in the region in the backdrop of on-going situation in Manipur, the PRO informed, adding that Assam Rifles remains dedicated for promoting inter-community harmony and continuous support towards ensuring peace in the region.
