Cash-aid distributed, relief items provided

Imphal, July 23 2023:
Continuing initiative to help its needy members; All Manipur Newspapers & Electronic Media Employees' Association (AMNEMEA) extended financial assistance aid to Naharol Thoudang daily head technician (machine-man) Laishram Am-bari of Sega Road Thouda Bhabok Leikai.
According to AMNEMEA, an amount of Rs 13,000 (Rs 10,000 from association fund and Rs 3,000 from members) has been handed over to Am-bari, who remained jobless after the said daily stopped newspaper publication since June 7 .
Meanwhile, Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board (LSTB) extended monetary assistance to several organisations formed for protection of religious places in different areas.
The assistance was given to Moreh Meitei Lai Thougal Lup, Churachandpur Tui-bong Khumanpokpa Laip hamlen, Moreh Lainingthou Sanamahi Puya Sandok Lup and Kongba Maru Laipham-len Apunba Semgat Lup.
LSTB also received a sum of Rs 35,000 from Ima Panthoibi Thougal Lup, Kameswar Dharmanagar North Tripura and Rs 25,000 from Ibudhou Pakhangba Thougal Lup, Laitumkhrah Shillong.
On the other-hand, Nongpok Leingak Nupi Lup, Wangkhei Meihoubam Lampak distributed essential items to relief camps set up at Khoijumantabi and Kadang-band Part-1 .
Committee of Forward Clubs Thongju, Apunba Meira Paibi Lup Thongju, Chaokhat Thourang Nupi Lup Koirou, Nehru Memorial Club and Top Youth Club distributed also essential items including edibles to relief camps at Khoijumantabi village.
Diocesan Social Service Society (DSSS) Imphal under Caritas India and Archbishop of Imphal distributed essential items to relief camps set up at Indoor Stadium Ka-kching, JnNRUM hall, Kha Manipur College, Kakching Wairi Kongoi community hall,' Kalyan Ashram Kakching, Life School Kakching and Yumbi Macha High School Kakching.
