Sadar Hills Football Coaching Camp kicks off

Manipur-born international footballer Renedy Singh kicked off the Sadar Hills Football Coaching Camp being organised by FeverPitch.in in association with Motbung Youth Club at the ETS Ground on Monday amidst much fanfare.
The week-long coaching camp is being conducted by Cardiff Corinthians, assistant coach, Ujjal Chatterjee, who has a decent experience of working with the Wales 1st division league side.
Assisting Ujjal in the camp is Birchandra Memorial Sporting Club's assistant coach N Dhiren Meetei.
With around 150 participants, this is the first time in Sadar Hills that a coaching camp of this magnitude has been organised.

Speaking on the occasion, Renedy Singh said, "It's a great opportunity for the kids to make the most of it will full dedication" .
He also advised the kids to work hard as there is no alternative to hard work.
Prior to the kick off of the coaching camp, another India International footballer Gouramangi Singh visited the camp.
Director of FeverPitch.in (A website on Indian Football) Babua Biswas, who initiated this camp said, "This coaching camp is just a tip of the iceberg for what we are planning to do.
We have plenty of talents in this region as well but the lack of facilities, ideas has hindered the progress and development of the players.
We just want to change that" .
Talking about his vision, Biswas added, "Through this camp, we are planning to train at least 10 coaches along with the kids from this region.
The idea is to continue the development of the kids through these coaches once the camp gets over.
We just don't want the kids to have no place to go after this.
We have a long term vision and are putting things in place to make it a sustainable project" .
