In the second chukker of the match, the State team managed to play as a team and managed to score two goals, again through Th Tana and conceded none.
With the score tied at three each, the team from UK played to a plan in the third chukker and managed to catch the State team on the wrong foot a number of times.
Maimie JB Powell was at it when she found the target and she was ably assisted by Annabel Mcnaughy who scored twice to help the UK team shoot into the lead by 5 goals to 3 .
The comfortable lead of two goals did not lull the players from UK and they kept on piling the pressure with some deft moves.
In the fourth chukker of the match, Charlotte Amy Sweeney was at it again scoring two goals while S Langlen of Manipur managed to pull one back.
When the final whistle was sounded, the UK team had romped home to a comfortable victory by a margin of 8 goals to 4 goals.
Early Parseno and L Tarun were the umpires of the match.
In the last group league, Hurlingham Polo Association will take on USPA from the USA which had earlier beaten the State team on the opening day of the tournament.
The final will be played on January 21 to coincide with Statehood Day after which the tournament has been named.
