Oriental English School, Unique Model Academy and Bright Career Academy emerge victorious

Imphal, July 13 2018:
Oriental English School, Keibi defeated Free Progress Academy, Uyumpok 2-1 in the first match today while Unique Model Academy thrashed Poireikhonjin High School 10-1 in the second match whereas Goodwill Christian High School trounced St George High School 10-1 in the third match of the Imphal East District Level Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament 2018 for U-14 and U-17 Boys being organised under the aegis of District Youth Affairs and Sports Office (DYASO), Imphal East at Artificial Turf Ground, Khuman Lampak today.
A total of 12 teams for U-14 and 6 teams for U-17 are taking part in the competition.
U-14 Boys:
In the first match, Oriental English School, Keibi defeated Free Progress Academy Uyumpok 2-1.Sanathoi and Boicha of Oriental English School scored the winning goals in the 16th and 47th minutes of the match.
For Free Progress Academy, the lone goal was scored by L Nanao.
In the second match, Unique Model Academy, Heingang thrashed Poireikhonjin High School, Yairipok 10-1.For Unique Model Academy, the successful goal scorers include H Kiran (15' and 60'), Th Sanamacha (18', 35', 40', 51', 60'), Th Lenin (19', 55'), and Sh Malemnganba (57').Shantikumar scored the lone goal for Poireikhonjin High School in the 50th minute.
In the third match, Goodwill Christian High School, Yaingangpokpi too trounced St George High School, Wangkhei 10-1 .
The winning goal scorers for Goodwill Christian High School were Ph Raju (8'), APhaoba(11', 44'), M Thoithoiba (22'), N Dhanako (33'), M Ajayson (38', 50'), S Amarjit (47', 52'), O Dinesh (55').Divapou (34') scored the lone goal for St George High School.
U-17 Boys:
In the first match, Ch Iboyaima High School blanked Ananda Singh Higher Secondary School 4-0.For Ch Iboyaima High School, the successful goal scorers include Vikramjit (16' and 48'), Arnold (38') and Rocky son (51').Thoungoulen of Ananda Singh Higher Secondary was yellow carded in the 2nd minute.
In the second match, Bright Career Academy also thumped St George High School 4-0.The winning goals for Bright Career Academy were scored by Roger A (7' and 14'), S Krishnananda (16') and Priyananda (37') .
Bright Career Academy, Lamlai will face Ch Iboyaima High School, Singjamei Kshetri Leikai tomorrow in the 3rd quarterfinal match for U-14 Boys at 6.30 am while Oriental English School, Keibi will lock horns with Covenant English School, New Checkon at 8 am.
