Imphal, September 02 2015:
Secretary of Senior Citizens for Society, Manipur, advocate Khaidem Mani said the three Bills passed by the State Assembly on Aug 31 for the protection of indi-genous people do not infringe upon the rights of the tribals.
Speaking to media persons at AMBA building at Cheirap Court complex today, Khai-dem Mani said tribal rights are not infringed by the three Bills.
He said that the lost of seven lives and injuries to many others in protest against the Bills was very unfortunate.
Khaidem Mani extended invitation to leaders of civil society organisations and legal luminaries to sort out any differences or misunderstanding regarding the Bills.
