Manipur Terriers organised a medical camp at T Lialunphai village near Sugnu town on October 17.About 700 people from villages around Sugnu town attended the medical camp which started at 9 am.
Free medical check-up, medicines and first aid were given to the people.
One dental doctor provided dental check up and treatment at the camp.
Films on health were also screened on the occasion to educate the populace and medical advice on water hygiene, prevention of malaria and other communicable diseases was also disseminated.
It was the first medical camp ever held in that area.
On October 8, a "Run For Fun" was flagged off by Maj Gen Shakti Gurung, VSM, General Officer Commanding of 57 Mountain Division at Leimakhong.
A large number of civilians, children, ladies, and soldiers participated in the "Run For Fun" which culminated in a sumptuous tea party.
