Imphal, Jul 23:
Reacting to the recent attack at Chavangphai village of Moreh and the claim made by UNLF as published in some media "UNLF claims attack on AR post at Moreh", the Kuki Movement For Human Rights noted that such a heavy attack from UNLF against the refugee village was unimaginable.
Raising serious concern over the matter, a statement issued by the human rights group said that the attack of July 18 was the 8th case of attack against the village.
Saying that Myanmar is a land of the Kukis occupied by Myanmarese, it conveyed surprise over UNLF being based in Myanmar and working in collaboration with the occupying force in Kabo valley.
Categorically referring to the July 18 attack, it conveyed strong displeasure that a revolutionary outfit like UNLF would stoop to such derogatory activities.
