Program on bamboo shoot processing held

Imphal, January 19 2021:
In continuation of the two days training on Bamboo Shoot Processing, a programme was held at the residence of Puthem Memcha at Andro Mamang Leikai today.
During the programme Dr Huidrom Dayanidhi Singh, Assistant Professor of College of Food and Technology, Central Agricultural University (CAU) talked about the importance of bamboo shoot and its process of value addition.
Puthem Memcha narrated on how to make fermented bamboo shoot locally known as Soijin as a part of the session.
