Resident Commissioners of Assam, Manipur and Mizoram in Delhi have failed to send their respective representatives and nodal officers during the one-day training for NE students and employees at PTC, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi on March 7 last.
A training for 36 representatives of NE States and nodal officer each from the NE State Bhavans was conducted on community reach out initiatives for NE citizens, structure of Delhi police, steps taken for security of women, citizen's role in crime prevention etc by the Delhi police on March 7 .
All the NE States except Assam, Manipur and Mizoram have sent their representatives at the training programme, according to Robin Hibu, Joint Commissioner of Delhi Police.
Meanwhile, Robin Hibu has sent a reminder to the Resident Commissioners of Assam, Manipur and Mizoram today urging them to designate their representatives.
Informing that a meeting with the nodal officers from 8 NE States and representatives of the NE States will be held at Arunachal Bhawan in April, the Joint Commissioner also urged the Resident Commissioners to place their problems during the meeting.
