RPF mourns

The proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has deeply mourned the demise of Major Kangujam Modhusana alias Naba of Khongman Okram Chuthek, who passed away on December 10 night following prolonged illness of the heart.
According to a statement issued by RPF's Publicity secretary T Leisemba, Maj Naba joined RPF/PLA in 1978 and suffered from heart disease due to alleged torture by Indian security forces.
Inspite of suffering from heart problems Maj Naba held important post in the outfit's finance and health/family departments, informed the statement and remembered him as a sincere and disciplined cadre.
Condolence meetings were held at all the units, departments and stations of RPF/PLA, the statement maintained and conveyed sorrow to members of the bereaved family.
