Imphal, October 04:
Chief Secretary has given instruction to the Vigilance Department for identifying the pensioners who failed to turn up for taking photographs in connection with the computerisation process for disbursal of pension so that necessary action can be taken up and to recover the pension amount withdrawn by them.
Around 6000 pensioners reportedly did not turn up in their respective Treasury offices for taking photographs.
It is said action would also be taken up against the officials of the bank, Treasuries or any other middle men if they were involved in fraudulent withdrawal of pension.
