GTWA seeks DPC at once
Source: Hueiyen News Service
Imphal, April 29 2015 :
Graduate Teachers' Welfare Association (GTWA) has demanded a mass DPC at once for all 751 vacant posts of Head Masters and Assistant Head Masters of Government Upper primary schools, High Schools and Higher Secondary High Schools in the State.
According to a press release issued by GTWA Secretaries, M Rajendra and Th Raghumani, there is a shortage of adequate numbers of DPC and this has left many eligible teachers for promotion holding the empty sacks.
It also said that some teachers had already retired without getting promoted, depriving them from their rights.
