Blood donation held by AMSU

Blood donation camp held to mark 35th Realization Day by All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) at the union's Head Quarters.
The blood camp was held by AMSU in coordination with Immunohaematology and Blood Transfusion RIMS.
AMSU's 200 members donated their blood on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion AMSU Secretary, Manjit Sarangthem recalled how independent Manipur came under the Indian Government and the removal of 'Foreigner Restriction Act' on Nov 18, 1950 due to which the State had to face influx of outsiders which has threatened the small group of indigenous people.
The two student leaders of 'Go Back Foreigners' movement, Huidrom Loken and Potshangbam Premanda were also remembered at the occasion.
