Imphal, August 29 2014 :
A team of Bhartiya Janata Morcha State Unit will meet the concerned Union Minister in the national capital next month.
The team would urge the Minister to have ration and kerosene distributed to the people of Manipur directly through concerned Deputy Commissioners only, unlike what has been happening presently in the State.
Presently, the MLAs stock rations and kerosene in their houses as if it is their household commodity, said the President of Yuva Morcha State Unit, O Malesh while speaking at a one day free health camp today.
The one day free health camp was organised jointly by the Bhartiya Yuva Morcha and District Health Society, Imphal West at Hiyangthang Maning Leikai.
The health camp was organised in connection with the 18th anniversary and remembrance month of the brave souls of Manipur.
Related to the remembrance month of the brave souls, the Yuva Morcha State Unit has been organising a variety of programmes like painting, drawing, patriotic song and many other competitions in different parts of the State.
The health camp provided free medicines and treatment to a lot of people in the area.
O Malesh thanked the Gram Panchayat Pradhan, Hiyangthang for its support in carrying out the camp successfully.
