Blood donation camp

Airport Security Guard (ASG) Unit of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) stationed at Imphal Tulihal Airport organised a blood donation camp in connection with the 48th raising day of CISF.
40 personnel donated around 45 units of blood in the camp organised by the ASG Unit of CISF along with Shija Blood Bank and Transfusion Services CISF was established in 1969 and are mainly in charge of guarding important places like nuclear installations, space establishments, airports, sea ports, atomic power plants and Government offices.
Aside from guarding oil fields and refineries, CISF are also tasked with guarding historical/ heritage monuments like the Taj Mahal and Red Fort.
They are also the prime players in providing security for VIP/VVIP personnel, disaster management and also guard places of importance like the Indian Embassy in Nepal etc.
