Imphal, February 03:
Denying news report published by a local daily on February 1 alleging corrupt practice in the Department of information and Public Relation, the Department director said there is no ground for issue of tender on the sly.
Contending that tender notices are published in State dailies according to provision of Manipur Advertisement Policy 1994, the director further pointed out that as per existing guidelines publication of the Sarva Shiksa Abhiyan State Mission notice had to be published in two leading vernacular papers and one English edition having the largest circulation figure.
